Default LS7 clutch and bellhousing on a LM7?

Hey all. As you might have read before, I am collecting parts to put a LM7 into a '67 Camaro. I finally found a reasonably priced T56 out of a '99 Camaro to go with it, but it did not have a bellhousing with it. I found a clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and bellhousing out of an LS7 Z06. So my question is if these LS7 parts will work with the LM7 and T56. I'm not familiar with what the Z06 set-ups are like with the rear mounted trans. Thanks as always!

Default no thoughts? How about LS6 clutch?

No input on this question, or is it too stupid of a question to deserve an answer? I've never seen how the bellhousing and clutch is set-up on a Corvette with the rear mounted trans, so it's possible this is a really dumb question. I assumed many people on here would be familiar with the various set-ups and potential interchangeability. I've also just found a low mileage clutch assembly from an '01 Z06. Is that any more compatible than the LS7? I assume not, but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

I'll move this to the transmission section, hopefully someone there can help you.

An early LM7 may have a thicker rear crank flange (which allowed it to use the 4L80-E flexplate without a spacer.) If it's the thinner rear crank flange, the flywheel & clutch are fine. Some don't like the LS7 self-adjusting pressure plate (search for threads on that.)

A 97-up Vette bellhousing is useless for bolting a T56 directly to the engine such as in a '67. Google or search eBay for pictures.

Overall it's a used clutch w/ a nothing-special flywheel used behind a big engine.

Default thanks!

I didn't know about the rear crank flange thickness variation. I made the assumption about the bellhousing, but had never seen one. Thanks for confirming a Vette one wouldn't work. My search is still on for a bell....
