The M6s came with 3.43s and the '01 SS I had with the M6 had no problems lighting the wheels up. Then again, neither does my current 3.23 A4.

Yes, pics would be awesome! Seems like a lot of people are doing A4-M6 swaps these days.

They should start a separate thread page here for just M6 swaps. IMO

Yes, but the 4L60E has a deeper first gear than the T56 (3.06 vs 2.66), which enables auto cars to run a higher rear end ratio and not lose any acceleration. When swapping, however, I am wondering if the higher stock rear ratio of the auto over the six speed (3.23 vs. 3.42) will cause the car to lose any acceleration noticeably.

Ok. I'm going to be busy the next couple of days but when I get some free time ill take my console apart and show everyone how I hooked everything up so nobody else runs into issues with getting everything to work how it should.

Congrats on the swap, I love having a 6 speed. It makes these cars much more fun IMO.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a few days and with 3:23's I think the car runs good I cant keep it from spinning out of the whole unless I'm under my cams power range when I launch then it spins good going into second and I'm running radials, now if I launch at 4-5k then I end up feathering the pedal until it stops spining then shifting into second at about 6500, my friend has a LQ9 camaro with some pretty radical stuff done to it putting down 470 through an M6, Moser 9", and 4.30's. I have a stock 10 bolt, 3.23's, and so far have seen 453 to the wheels and he can only beat me by a few feet with him shifting at 7k. I'm having a hard time deciding to go with 3.90's or 4.11's
