Default Slave qick disconnect issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so I went a bought one of those nifty Tick Performance Master cylinders. I went to install it today and I ran into a major issue. I cannot get the quick disconnect line loose from the slave. It has the plastic piece around the end of the line that you are suppose to press in and the line will slide out from the slave. It aint moving!!!!

Help please!!!!!!

What are you using as a tool? I used a plastic fuel line disconnect tool on mine and that seemed to work very well.

Did you try cracking open the bleeder on the slave? It helps sometimes.

Also, when I disconnect the slave, I try to push the line AND the plastic piece in, to get it apart.

Sounds like it was an autozone "perfection" slave. They don't last very long. At least mine didnt

any way to take this C clip out without dropping the trans??? trying to do the drill mod, and there doesnt seem to be enough room for the clip to slide out. or is there a way to flush the braided line with it still attached to the trans after its drilled out?

No, you're going to have to remove the braided line from the trans to be able to flush it out. I just did the drill mod today and got my new AP (Autozone Duralast) master cylinder installed. Lots of fun getting that thing back into place ! My wife was the one who actually got that U-bolt into place .
