Default which LS2 pilot bearing/bushing

06 GTO with a slightly worn input shaft that i will smooth out a bit before installing tranny back into car. my question is which pilot bearing or bushing do i use (part number)? i know there is a small bearing and a small bushing, there is also a large bearing. Which do i use? bushing, bearing? Thanks

GTO input & bellhousing match up to the small o.d. bearing / bushing.

Could anyone post part numbers for this. I've got a GTO trans and an LS2. The crank on the LS2 looks like it takes a large OD pilot bearing. I have a small OD pilot bushing that came with my clutch kit, I don't see it working with my crank.

What measurements have you taken to determine the depth to which the pilot end of the maindrive will reach?

None. I was under the impression that all this stuff was interchangeable. Now after looking at my crank closer, it appears they are designed to take either type of bearing. The crank is stepped. I'll use the small one that came with my clutch kit.

Good, because the pilot end of the maindrive goes further into the crank than the large bearing location.
