Default LM7 (1999) with T56 (1994 Camaro)

Newbie here.....I'm starting a project and picked up a 99 LM7 and want to use a T56 that I have from a 1994 Camaro.

Couple quick questions:
1. Do I need to change the input shaft to LS2 type? Or is there other options.

2. I have the Camaro 1994 bell-housing and its all bolts together -any other adapters that I would need?

3. I'm planning to use the Camaro clutch, flywheel, actuator - should this work?

This is probably all basic stuff but 1st time for me!

Project is pretty fun so far: RATVETTE

Do a search on "LT1 T56" in this forum and you will see your question asked and answered several times. In short, you will need to swap out the input shaft, bell housing, and midplate to the LS1 style to use your tranny with the 5.3l. You will also need an LS1 style clutch, flywheel, and hydraulics, as the LT1 style does not interchange with the LS1 parts. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

This is all assuming you do not have a 5.3l with the .400 longer crank. Very rare, but it was on the 99-00 6.0ls mostly. Worth a look however.
