Default Still can't decide...

If I want a TDP stage 2 or a monster stage 3???? I don't wanna have a hard time driving it, because it is my DD. But i'd like it to hold 600-700hp someday, is the monster 3 a on/off switch like the TDP stage 3?

Monster 3 is an on/off switch. I had one in my SS. It chattered and squealed due to the puck design but it was not too bad driving it on the street. It felt great beating on it as well. If I wasn't worried about the T56 holding up under my current build I would look into another monster.

Well ****, I may just get a stage 2 because I doubt I will like an on/off switch. I wish I could drive someone's car with a 3 and a 2 to see how they drive.

Any puck design is going to be very grabby. I would go with a 12" setup and with that, you should be good with something like a Spec 2+ as long as the hydraulics are working well. It is rated @ 715 ft lbs of torque which is what the clutch sees. It doesn't see horse power.

I'm def going with Diamond or Monster. I just mainly can't decide if I need/want stage 2 or 3...probly go with whoever is cheaper between the 2. I had a damn good deal from Steve at SNL for a monster 3 but decided to wait. I should have taken that deal for sure.

Can't speak for Monster, I'm sure they make a good clutch. But I have a Diamond stage 2 and it drives close to stock with a slightly firmer pedal. If you get the Diamond on sale the stage 2 is $690 shipped for the complete kit.

I'll be a bit biased but I'll say Monster.

Our level 3, when installed and broken in properly, will not have any squealing and chatter. This is typical of guys that put these in there and don't adjust driving habits, or, have installation issues.

I've got thousands of clutches out there with less than a 1% failure rate, going as fast as a 9.5x, and lasting over 60k miles.

You saw me go 11.2x in my GTO with my 11" Monster, and Chris in his C5 went 10.99 that same night in a Level 2.

Give me a call and we'll get you taken care of.

I installed my diamond stage 2 yesterday and drove it some but its super easy to drive and no chatter. I also installed the tick adj master. But I cant wait to get the diamond clutch broke in so I can really launch it a few times. Call jason at at TDP he knows his stuff and can tell you more about his clutch. You wont be dissapointed.
