Default shifter changeout brand options

i'm lookin to changeout the shifter in my cherry c5 vette, and of course lookin for best value. i've seen fidanza and ralco short throw cos. that say there american made w/ same throw as b &m etc. but being that there cheaper would u performance guys recommend staying w/ mgw or b&m/hurst for the xtra bucks? And, has anyone heard of these fidanza or ralco brands??? is the mgw worth the few xtra bucks over the b & m/ hurst?? thanx, and if anyone wants my stock c5 shifter w **** and a Z06 shifter w/o ****, let me know, i'll pass em on for $ 40 thanx to all help to pick rite brand c

I have a b&m and I can't stand it. I will be swapping it for a hurst or mgw ASAP if I stay m6.

MGW & love it, it's apparently it bit shorter in throw, comes with 'everything' needed to install, also quieter than rip shift etc
