Default skip shift solenoid

So I ended up breaking the plug in off my skip shift solenoid trying to wrestle it into my car. What will happen if i just leave it unplugged? Where can I get one these?

Or get a CAGS eliminator for $20. It will also plug in to your loose connector and protect it.

The actual terminal is broken. Its not loose its snaped and bent down. If the wires would contact I could probably bend it up and do that and then black tape around it to keep water and what not out.

The CAGS eliminator protects the plug that went in to the solenoid. More important there than the actual solenoid as the plug is still connected to the car's systems.
