Default T56 is almost done....1st and reverse??

A rebuild by TDP is already on my to to list...but when my car is cold it doesnt want to go into gear. I notice reverse and 1st because thats what I use when leaving work when its cold out. Once it gets warm it goes into gear fine. Any Ideas???

Same thing happened with my car and finally i wasn't able to get into any gears at all while the car is on..I ordered a new clutch and slave cylinder so when it comes in and I get it all put together I'll let you know how it goes. view my recent thread for more description of the problem i had. but yeah the symptoms you have were the same ones that i started out with.

How much play does the pedal have? If it has play replace that master cylinder bushing with a brass one.

Funny thing...I got in it last night and the clutch felt different. Usually the friction point is about 2 inches off the floor. Now the friction point seems to be almost at the top, kinda like my old mach1. It also goes into gear easy now...hmmm
