Default Check my clutch setup

Spec stage 3 (or diamond stage 3) clutch, Ram adjustable master cylinder, GM slave cylinder and throw out bearing, resurfaced stock flywheel, remote speed bleeder

What do you guys think, is this a good performing setup for weekday street driving and the 1/4 mile with slicks on the weekend shifting at 6,500 rpms?

all sounds good, except the resurface of the flywheel...doin this will throw off your clearances and allow more slipping of the clutch, id just replace the flywheel...everyones got their own opinion though.

I've heard the ram master is a piece of crap. Get the tick imo. There's a reason everyone here loves the damn thing

I'd do a Tick master and get a Monster Clutch setup complete with flywheel and all. Joey at Tick sells a package together that has all of this and save you some money.

Call them.

Tick master cylinder and monster clutch that meets my needs is almost twice as much as a spec stage 3 with ram adjustable m/c. i chose this setup for price point while retaining quality. I know monster clutch and tick m/c's are some of the best but they dont meet the budget for this build

ram is an adjustable stock m/c. stock isn't crap just doesn't have as big a bore as the tick. $200 price diff between ram and tick

3rdCoast...the Stage 3 can be a little more aggressive than some folks like when using it for street duties. That being said a Stags 2+ or 3+ will provide better drivability. You can resurface your stock flywheel, but you need to be careful when doing this. If the flywheel has been cut previously then get a new one. If it hasn't been machined previously then you would be ok to cut .015" out of the surface. If you need a flywheel (we offer steel and aluminum) let me know and we can help you with a package deal. Let me know if you have any further questions and I will be happy to assist you further! Thanks!
