Clutch pedal stuck to floor

Clutch pedal stuck to floor When I got out of my car this morning to get some gum, i pushed the clutch pedal to the floor to take it out of gear and it stayed on the floor.
I had been driving slowly for about 10 mins before I pulled over at a gas station to get gum.
I kept pushing on the pedal hoping that it would eventually pop back out, but it didnt. I then brought the pedal back to the top of the pedal travel and pushed it. This time it came back, but felt soft. I did this several times, and it firmed up some, but now the release point on the clutch has moved up a little.
Can anyone help me out with what is going on here?
My car is a 1998 Z28 6 speed. it has 80k miles on the stock clutch and the clutch fluid is black. I am gonna be getting a stage 3 spec in about one month.
