Will it wear out the clutch if I hold the clutch at stop lights?

Wear != immediate destruction. In other words you can avoid extra wear by not holding the clutch if possible.
Clutch in / Trans in neutral *wears* => Throwout bearing, Thrust bearing.
Clutch in / Trans in gear *wears* => Above + pilot bearing.

Just do what I do, put it in neutral and use your brakes when stopped for longer periods of time such as stop lights. It's less wear on the clutch and doesn't make your legs hurt as much trying to hold it in.

Everything they said about clutch use impact on the thrust bearing applied to me: high spring pressure in clutches (high performance clutches) combined with riding the clutch (holding it in at a stoplight) can lead to excessive wear on the thrust bearing. Since this is a driving habit I can control to avoid excessive wear, I can tell you I will be in neutral with the clutch engaged when I come to stop lights from now on
Thanks for the link, SS!
