3rd popping out is pissing me off.. HELPPP PLEASEE! ok fellas my trans ams transmission 3rd gear pops out (shift fork being nylon) and i need someone who knows where to get my transmission rebuilt and replaced with steel shift forks. i was gonna pull it when i replaced clutch with ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel so might as well get it rebuilt so it will hold the 560 horses being pushed on it. It wasnt near as bad but now its 7 outta 10 times it pops out. Apparently my 2000 was the last year to have them other than that, the transmission works great and shifts great even reverse is smooth. Anyone know whats the best option to take? Thanks!

It definately sounds like it needs some attention. For 560hp I would recommend our Level 5 parts and labor build for your car. Our Level 5 parts and labor build includes the steel 3-4 fork, modified 1-2 fork, billet synchro keys, bronze fork pads, bronze shifter bushing, new carbon blocking rings and assembled to our specs.
