Default t56 input shaft broken.

whats the average price to fix/replace an input shaft on on t56 trans?

its a brand new trans and the input shaft bent because of bad shipping.

just wondering the ball park range honestly. i know I'm trying to figure a bunch of other stuff out so I'm having trouble lurking through the internet. putting an ls1 into a nissan.

A C5Z/GTO input will be similar, just longer and would work depending on your clutch/FW/pilot setup.

To get an actual CTSv input, you'd have to go through GM.

the input shaft bent because of bad shipping.

This is what insurance is for.
Actually bending an input may cause other concerns. Don't simply swap it...look it over carefully.

yea thats the problem I'm deciding to buy it from a friend. he never did anything about it and i can get it for 700 of him and fix it. i don't want to buy it if i can't fix it.

$700 for a CTSV T56 with a bent input shaft is too much. They only fit that application so the demand for them is pretty low thus making them worth less.
