a4 to m6 conversion ses light comes on ok so i just completed the conversion and everything works fine except my ses light came on.....i scanned it and its the 1-4 skip shift solenoid code now my question is.... does anyone know a way to fix this or is tuning this out the only way to get rid of the code??

I just did the conversion myself as well. I am no expert in the matter, but I left my skip shift disconnected. If you connected yours and reprogrammed your computer appropriately, then you should be getting no code. If you left yours disconnected like me, then you have to get it tuned out. Other than that I really have no idea if there is another way.
