Default Can anyone tell me how they pedal

felt after the drill mod and the upgraded hydraulics. I have a 2000 SS with stock hydors. Today I upgraded to an adjustable master and slave with the drill mod and the pedal feels like ****. It feels a lot softer than it did before with the old setup. I also installed a Ram VDS 980 while i was at it. I expected the pedal to be a lot stiffer because of the clutch but it seems to be just the opposite. I used a mity vac to bleed the whole system so i Know there isnt any air in there. So I need to know if how my pedal feels is normal. TIA

After my hydraulics upgrade and new clutch. The pedal felt almost like stock once we got out all of the air. After a day or so of driving the car, I could feel it start to firm up a little.

Maybe someone else can chime in on this one..

How does it shift? Same, normal, shitty, can't shift?

Well if it actually feels like stock, shifts great, I guess the adjustable master and drill-out mod worked.

I just install a McLeod twin disk. Could even tell it was an after-market set-up. I ran a McLeod single disk for 2 years at the track - close to 400 1/4 5800 rmp dumps, still felt like stock pedal.

What kind of master did you use?

The master came with the ram setup. Looks like a gm replacement to me with the rod cut off and a heim joint welded it. After a test drive around the block the pedal seems to frim up. Everything engages and disengages fine. Pedal feels like stock and i changed the engagement point a little. Weird thing is even though it is an aftermarket clutch capable of holding some serious power a woman can still drive the car with comfort

Probably just a little trapped air. Suck the air out agian (Buschman's step 3) after driving it a few times.
