Lightbulb 98-02 Throwout Bearing Question

So, I am in process of installing my T56 in my 2nd gen Camaro swap, and am going to do the measuring check for the clutch clearance. But my question is...

So when the cluch pedal is not pressed, does the throwout bearing always turn at engine rpm speed since the spring pressure must hold it up against the clutch fingers?

That is normal correct? Measuring and shimming just checks and gives the slave cyinder clearance that its not engaging when the pedal is not pressed.

Just want to reassure myself before I put this thing together.

Thanks.

Yes, the T-O bearing should always contact. The load & travel( position) will change with pedal travel.
