Default where can i buy a new or reman t56 for a lt1 in az

so far ive tried all trans and they are at 1400 but does anyone know where i can possibly try another place in the pheonix area?
and i would be getting a ram clutches powergrips series or just a oem replacement for it so any recomendations on a "good clutch for $$" would be taken in consideration.

thanks branden

The only new LT1 t56 would have been on a shelf for quite some time...they have been out of production for some time now. A rebuild/ reman is what you will find. $1400 does not sound that bad.

$1400 is pretty good for a rebuilt unit out right. If you have a core, you can probably rebuild yours for less money.

i ended up finding a place that will rebuild mine for 700-900 so ill probably go with them.

as for the clutch would the power grip or oem rplacement be good? i do plan on rebuilding my engine in the next year to 2 to around 400 hp so should i just buy the "pwergrip" series while im getting a clutch or just get the oem for now? and what kind of difference while driving would i experience with the powergrip over the oem replacement?
