Default problem grabbing 4th

hey guys i have had my car for about 18 months now. i have not taken it to the track yet but it seems that when running through the gears getting on the highway or something, i can hit 2-3 no problem but i always seen to miss 4th. you would think 3-4 would be easier than 2-3. i also never have a problem 1-2. normal driving everything feels fine, no grinding or anything going into 4th. is this a common problem or do i just need practice(got any tips?)?

Will it not go in the gate, or are you missing the gate? When shifting quickly a lot of people will put a little pressure towards their body and miss the gate. Hence the dreaded 3-2 shift.

Yep that was it, thanks. I wasn't actually going straight down. It's weird feeling, my previous car was a sentra spec v that had a dash mounted shifted so I guess I just need some practice.

Thanks guys
