Stuff the manufacture, use a good synthetic.
Find yourself a pump that can hold say 1 pint or a Qrt, has a long 'clear' hose that you can see the fluid flow, undo the bung plug on the side of the box. Either drain the box first or suck it out with pump & refill with your new Synthetic till it starts to flow out & quickly put back the plug.
The gear changes are smoother, no where near as notchy when using synthetic
