Opinions on spec stage 3 clutch kit please! Ok ATM I have a 2000 ta with ls6 intake and exhaust..plus a 100shot..will the spec stage 3 be the best bet to me? It's my summer daily and I do drive it pretty hard..also do I need to replace my slave cylinder?

I have a spec 3+ in my car now, with about 3000 miles on it. I am fixing to pull it out to go with a twin disc spec. It is a great clutch and I havent had any problems at all... Holds really well (487rwhp motor only setup). Im fixing to spray a 300 shot and I know it wouldnt hold up with that kinda shot.

3+, yes. Replace slave, possibly. 3 is puck disk & IMO, is not @ the performance level of the full faced 3+. I've used both & prfeffer the 3+. Make sure to measure install thickness dimensions. You may or may not need the shim. An adjustable master cyl is helpful, as well & can help to extend the life of the clutch.
