Default my clutch dilemma

i recently bought a stage 1 spec clutch for about 260 from marylandspeed. car is oem clutch now starting to slip and chatter like crazy so i want something new. car will just be bolt ons for quite a while so at first i thought the stage 1 would be ok. now im thinking i should maybe go with something different to maybe hold more power down the road and also get a lightweight flywheel. what should i do? not looking to spend alot but ive heard bad things about stage 1 clutches.

I have the LS7 clutch kit from the WS6 Store (clutch, pressure plate, and steel flywheel) in my car and it works nicely; I only have about 500 miles on it, but I don't see any reason to expect a radical change in behavior from GM parts. They offer a lightened flywheel option if you want that, but I wanted some inertia with my cam so I wouldn't kill the motor every time I rolled out of a stoplight.

IMHO you don't want a aluminum FW on a street car.

I know a guy that uses the spec stage 1 on a ported ls6 head and cam car with all bolt ons. It holds fine at the track as well and has great street manners. Dident have to shim anything either. Works great.
