how to convert dodger tr6060 to lsx style??
I have a dodge challenger rt that I am considering swapping to LS power. There isnt any real tuning support or aftermarket world geared towards the 5.7 Hemi .I have always been a G.M guy but like the drive of the challenger way more than the 10 camaro ss I had.I want to swap the motor over but keep the tr6060 that is in the car so that I dont have to mess with fabbing shifter mounts and drive shafts etc.Is it possible to just change the front plate, slave input shaft and bell housing?Do I go LS1 style or LS3 style.?
Any help or direction is appreciated.
Thanks
J

You could go either way. Personally I'd shoot for the separate Magnum front plate with a separate bell (LS1 bell for LS1 clutch; CTS-V bell for LS3 style IIRC) instead of the 2010 production combo-piece.
The M10 (all models but ZL1) Camaro maindrive gear should match the Chrysler countershaft if both are 29 tooth but there are exception to that in the Viper models. In short, if your countershafts are the same, the maindrive (input) will work.
