Default Good Price For A T56
I came across a "rebuilt" (havent looked at it yet) LT1 T56 with new clutch and hurst shifter for 1,000. Is this a good deal?

if its rebuilt and never been run then yes I'd say thats a pretty good deal. one thing though are you planning on using the tranny with an ltx motor? reason being it will not bolt up to an ls engine without a couple changes...

It will be bolting up to a 454 and later on down the line a 6.0

im not sure what all is involved to make it work with a BBC so check into that. however to make it work with a 6.0 ls style motor your gonna need to change the input shaft, mid plate, and bellhousing
