Default New Monster slipping?

Well I was very happy with my new clutch. I have 575 miles on it but now its starts to slip whenever i go 50% throttle or more. My ses light came on too and it threw a po704 code. I replaced the switch but the ses light came back on. I babied the clutch and did a slight rolling pull from 25 to the begining of third gear at 506 miles. I really dont think that that would have caused any damage. Confused now

Where is your engagement point at on the pedal? Did you check the distances of the throw out bearing and the new clutch to see if you need a shim? I have a stage 3 monster and it definitely shouldn't be slipping at all- these things are designed to hold a lot of power. If your clutch is set up properly according to your clearances( measure for shim) and your hydraulics are good as well as your engagement, then you either have a contaminate( oil, clutch line fluid, etc), or a faulty cutch. Haven't heard of any bad clutches from them but I suppose it could be possible. This is all assuming you have a new/good flywheel mated with the clutch.

Well it feels like the clutch engages just as im about to lift my foot off of the pedal. I had a shop do it and the installer said that he did not shim it. All of the hydraulics are new as well. I called Steve at Monster and he told me to remove the clutch and inspect it and take pictures then email them to him. I hope it's something simple. I'm hoping the slave is spewing all over the place but my clutch resovior is full.

Keep me posted on what you find. If it's a manufacturer defect you'll get a replacement, if it's something to do with install I'll explain what went wrong so it doesn't happen again.

No worries man, I'm sure it's something simple like a slave or rear main seal leak.
