LS to Saginaw question

Default LS to Saginaw question

I have read that I can bolt my saginaw 4 speed to my ls using the saginaw clutch and my stock 4.8 flywheel. Is this true? anybody out there done this with some info?

It should be the same as a muncie if it's from a chevy. Just know, the saginaws are very weak trans.

Thanks for the link. I dont imagine the trans will hold up forever but just enough to get me moving on this and not killing my budget. Id like to upgrade to the t56 but im nowhere near that stage yet. Thanks again for your help!
