Default Which Shifter Steeda Tri-Ax - B&M Ripper - Pro5.0?

Got a great deal on a replacement T-56 and I'm looking for ways to make it not have the 3/4 synchro problem like my last one. The shifter stop option doesn't seem like it would hurt anything, and would be for the better anyway. I haven't found too many deals on the Pro 5.0, but I'm seeing this Steeda Tri-Ax more and more, It looks to be a very strong shifter, any ideas on if it'll work? Also, the more and more I think about it, I'm leaning toward the thought that my clutch wasn't dissengaging right and that led to the demise of my tranny, what can us LT1 guys do with our T/O bearing-Slave-M/C?
