Serious Pilot Bearing Problem
#2
I guess you tried a blind hole puller on a slide hammer? That's the only thing I can think of. If there is any way to force the blind hole puller past the ridge in the back of the old bearing and catch a edge of a bearing it should come out. Mine was bad, but not quite that bad and I got it out that way.

I rented a blind hole puller from autozone.... after beating it and beating it with the supplied slide hammer I got fed up and went to o'reilly. I looked at their pilot bearing removal tool and saw it wouldn't fit, but it did come with a 5lb slide hammer. I used the blind hole puller from autozone, the 5 lb slide hammer from o'reilly, 2 slides and it was out. With the 3 lb slide hammer I must have pounded on the thing for a half hour and it would not budge at all.
