I have an LS7 clutch with about 7k miles and just got an RPM transmission that now has about 1500 miles on it. After a few hundred miles with the new tranny I started feeling the shifter rise up under half throttle or more in 1st and 2nd gear. Under more throttle it will pop up with a bang that I can feel in my seat and will fall back down with the same force. The garage that put in the tranny says its my stock shifter and I just didnt notice this problem with the old tranny which was going bad. It feels like more than shifter moving around to cause that kind of experience. But nothing seems out of place when I look under the car. Has anybody heard of this before?

Sounds like a broken tranny mount.

Transmission mount. Mine did the same thing. They are cheap and take 10 mins to replace...
