Driving home the other day and the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor. I pulled over to inspect I saw that the rod going the clutch pedal had come unthreaded from the Tick MC. Easy, I'll just screw it back in right? Wrong. Turns out the threads inside the rod were stripped and it wouldn't go back in. Remind you, this is in downtown Chicago. Luckily I keep duct tape and electrical tape with me (you never know!) and I was able to line up the mc bolt with the rod and duct tape it. What do you know, it got me home about 4 miles away in stop and go city traffic.

So now can I simply re-tap the rod that goes to the clutch pedal? Or can I just buy another rod from Tick?

I think tick has a life time warranty. But I'm not sure what it covers??

that always worried me, any time I mess with it I make sure it's threaded evenly in both sides and the jam nuts are tight

id rethread both sides and call it a day if it does it again then call up tick
