Default Installing tailhousing on T56 and found a metal dowel. Where does it go?

I was reinstalling the tailhousing on my t56 and on the floor I found a metal dowel 1 inch long by 1/4 inch in diameter. Where does it go? If it even goes to the transmission. My work cart was right next to the trans, so not even sure if it goes to it. I didnt have anything apart other than the tailhousing off and all sensors removed. Thanks

The tremec case dowels seem smaller than that but there should be two in each mating surface (tail to case, case to adapter, adapter to bell)

Thanks. Not the roll pin, its a solid dowel. The case has 2 dowels in it and so does the front plate. So I guess im gonna chalk this up to it being to something else. Maybe left over from when I put the monster clutch in. I remember that had a bunch of extra dowels with it.

my monster definatly came with 1" by 1/4" dowl pins that i didnt use, i just measured them and used one to pin my crank, so very well could be from there.

Update. It was a dowel from the monster clutch. Pounded it back in the flywheel. I got no idea how it made it out of the bellhousing. Hope it doesnt happen again.
