Default Please help!!!!

I just is installed a new act street/strip clutch, new master cylinder and slave cylinder and a fidanza flywheel. The air is all bled out of the system but my clutch won't disengage. My buddy has an 06 z06 running a fidanza as well and he said that mine slave cylinder needs to be shimmed. He said he has a second shim that fidanza accidentally sent he that he thinks is either for his vette or a camaro but he thinks that they are both the same. I know there are probably already a hundred threads on this subject but I'm kind of on a time crunch and need to get this figured out. Does this sound like this is the fix for my problem or am I headed down the wrong path. Like I said I'm kind of in a time crunch and I need quick correct input on how to get this resolved. Any input is greatly appreciated.
