Default bad input shaft?

hi guys,
My buddy has an 01 ss with a spec twin disc clutch. it started making a grinding noise. he pulled out the tranny and the splines on the clutch disc were stripped out. ill attach a pic of the input shaft. does it look like it should be replace or is it fine. the tranny is pretty much stock except for the shift fork

thanks for the input

Definitely will need a new input shaft.. Time to rebuild and upgrade while it's opened up...

Wow, I've only seen this a few times in a hell of a lot of builds.
