Rattle when clutch in depressed
I was having clutch problems and figured out that my slave was bad. I replaced the slave and immediately noticed a rattle like something is loose when the clutch is depressed and also slightly when idling in neutral. The car seems to shift fine but the noise gets worse when shifting at high RPM. If anyone has a clue let me know. I was thinking the throw out bearing on the new slave might just be bad. I don't really want to dump a bunch of money into it to figure it out.

As usual, not much help from anyone on here. Decided to just go ahead and rip out the clutch and everything to find the problem. Turns out my pilot bushing was pretty much shredded.

Yes thank you! My input shaft was honing out the center of that bushing. I was lucky to fix it before something got destroyed. After two full days of work I can happily say that I am shifting smooth once again.
