Default which tramsmission?

Idk what transmission to put in a weekend warrior type of vehicle. I was thinking a t56, but would a richmond gear work behind a ls3?

I went with a Richmond 6 speed in my 68 LS2 corvette for 2 reasons.
1) the gear ratios worked better with my newly rebuilt rear end
2) it didn't require tunnel or crossmember mods
You might also consider a TKO

I'm not a real big fan of the Richmond Gear 5 and 6 speeds.

You can run the TKO with a 621 bell and manual z bar clutch.
