Question Smaller flywheel?

Did any LS motor ever come with a 153t flywheel? If so, what starter will fit? I'm doing a manual swap and using a WC Mustang T-5 trans with a
1980 Jeep aluminum bellhousing. The 164t flywheel hits about everywhere inside this bell. I'm pretty much stuck either using it or slicing out the trans tunnel and building a new one...

Correct. Try the 621 BBC bellhousing. I am using it on my LS engine with a T10/Muncie style bolt pattern transmission. Not sure if the T5 is the same.
