Default Tick Performance Trans-Reverse Issue

I installed the level 3 6speed on my 2000 trans am and and now having issues shifting into reverse. Not exactly pushing up(vertical) into reverse but to push the shifter handle over (Horizontal) towards reverse. Almost like there is something hydraulic that im pushing out of the way to get into reverse. Solenoid?

Did you plug the solenoid in? Check the fuse. This is exactly what an un-powered solenoid would act like.

Try this first.

If it does not fix the issue give us a call, I'm betting this is the problem though.

You can pop out the lockout solenoid and see if it shifts into reverse, its only one bolt and it comes right out.

I think checking the connector and/ or the fuse is a bit easier. That may be step 3 .

^^ I agree with that, but if the wiring is bad or the solenoid itself is bad its not that hard to pull the whole piece out

Well after taking it for a spin it no longer has this problem? It works perfect. And why no response to this post from Tick?

Your correct. I guess I discounted it because we had the same issue. Mine works great now. This level 5 TR6060 is a smooth shifting badass. I put 945 rwhp to the tires on the Dyno last weekend, that should test this thing out.

Sorry if you didn't see my post, but I did indeed post right after you did.
