help!!! lt1 t56 to sbc 400
I've done days of research and have found dozens of stories n write ups but nobody gives details , I have all the lt1 stock parts
I also need to support 575 tq which is y I question the stock bellhousing
I would like to run a hydraulic throwout
Which kind or part numbers do I need for following
Bellhousing
Flywheel
Throwout
I know some have used all stock lt1 parts but I'm sure I can't
Oh and most important at lowest cost possible please
It is internally bal.

The bell housing doesn't hold horse power. Its merely a housing connecting the engine to the transmission and providing a cover for the clutch and flywheel. Now if something in the clutch or flywheel lets go, the factory housing does a poor job of containing it. This is where a scatter shield like Quicktime makes comes in to play.

Huh I was thinking to twist from the crank would tweak it ,
Could u tell me if it would be a smart route to stay with the factory pull style setup or to go hydraulic throw out
Cuz if I do go the custom flywheel route I will have to stay with it correct?
