Default Just installed Spec Stage 3!!

Hey guys I just picked up my car from getting the spec stage 3 put in, I have only put like 28 miles on it but it shakes really bad leaving the line at like 1200 RPM, is this common? I tried going a little higher RPM off the line and it didn't shake bad at all, is this how I have to drive it? There is no slipping this clutch it is eather in or out!! Feed back would be great!

That's the chatter that everyone talks about. It will eventually go away. You will get use to the on/off feeling as it will slowly go away as it breaks in. I've had mine for about 5k mi and it can be slipped and only chatters if its about to stall (too low of an rpm).

After a 1K mile break in on mine, drives like stock. The chatter is only there if you almost stall on take off. Other than that, this is about as close to stock as you're gonna get with an aftermarket clutch.

Did yours chatter pretty bad right after the install? If so how long did it last for? Thanks a lot for your help

Thumbs up

that's normal, mine chattered real bad for about 400 miles, now it feels kind of like stock, so all you have to do is put more miles on it and it'll be fine,

when i first drove the car with the SPEC III, man i hated that clutch so bad, but trust me, you'll like it after it breaks in and you get used to it
