Default LQ9 Input/Output Spline Count

Does anyone know what the input/output spline count is on a LQ9 engine? I'm looking for a T-56 transmission and I want to make sure I purchase the right one that will mate up to this engine.

The engine doesn't have an input or output shaft. It has a crankshaft.

There are a number of T56 models which have the right input spline that don't fit the LQ9. More vehicle info would help.

The engine came out of a 2005 Escalade however I'm installing it into a 1983 BMW 5 series.

I just realized it's the clutch that the shaft mates with. I need to figure out which clutch to run now to figure out the spline count.
