Clutch chatter, an unexpected solution. I have a Ram 910 VDS with their aluminum flywheel in my C5 with 4.10 gears. Since installing it I've had mild chatter when driving around town. Its pretty hard to leave a stop slowly. I've been trying to adjust my driving style to it, but without much success.
On Sunday I started adding low-rpm timing, 0-1200 rpm. Tonight I worked with it a little more. I was trying to correct a condition where my car hunts for idle, but it had an unexpected side effect. It made it a lot easier leave a stop slowly at 1200rpm without chatter. Honestly, I cant believe the difference.
Just thought you guys with clutch chatter might want to try this.

Well that's interesting. I have a T1 in my C5 too and I have chatter when taking off slowly. What did you change the timing to and in what ranges?
