Odd.

Most of the time shims are the cause of a high engagement.

How many miles are on the setup and where does it start to engage?

no more then 1.5-2k

i can get a very slow roll about 2inchs off the floor but it doesnt change until its at the top

what i also have notice is the clutch drives somewhat better with some heat in it, like lets say with 10min or so driving on it

As far as proper break-in is concerned, I cannot tell you how important it is. With my Level one twin from monster the chatter(even with the organic disks) was pretty annoying. Definitely not as bad as a stage three but it was certainly there. Most of my miles are freeway miles as I am always driving the opposite direction of traffic, I never get traffic. My break-in took nearly 1k miles. Now it is smooth. You just have to resist the urge to beat on it too early.

Once that stage three is broken in you will NEED to beat on it to keep the chatter from coming back otherwise the clutch and flywheel will glaze over. A good beat down will get rid of it again if it comes back.

My problem is that I cannot really beat on my clutch because the tires give WAYYYYY before the clutch. :-p
