Default No speedo and Reverse lockout is wierd

I just had my T-56 rebuilt and bought a kit from THEGEARBOX.ORG and they were awesome and fast and would recommend them to anybody looking for parts. Now on my end my trans shift awesome but i have no speedo and reverse lockout isnt working 100%. I replaced the speed sensor and still nothing. We did notice that the speed sensor wires were bare so we fixed that problem before the new speed sensor went in. When i put it in reverse i have to almost wiggle it with some force to get it past the lockout part, no grinding when going into gear though. Any ideas would help thanks.

You probably installed the wire adapters wrong. Common mistake.
Switch them over and it should fix your problem.

The wire adapters are all correct. Checked the tone ring inside the tranny and its spot on. I have no idea whats causing this. It worked before the rebuild but not after.

Fixed it. The tone ring that spins right next to the speed sensor was off about half an inch on the shaft. Pulled it moved it all is good now.
