Default T56 differences

Just wondering what the differences are between the T56 for the lt1 versus the ls1. Doing a 6 speed swap and have a lead on a trans but its off a 96 and my car has an lq9. Thanks for any advice.

no offense man but this question has been asked over 100 times so please try a search next time. but just know that unless the lt1 t56 is basically free its not worth it. you need an ls1 bellhousing, mid plate and input shaft. costing around 650 in parts alone

Just go with a LS1 T-56 bud. My LS1 99 Trans Am with almost 160,000 miles T-56 never had any problems, all I ever did was change clutch twice but I had never had to rebuild my tranny (that is because it was always taken care of great)
