2004 GTO shift problems.. Sup everybody basically trying to find a resolution to my transmission issues which brought me here. I just had my tranny rebuilt 2 months ago by a shop in my area. I had them replace anything they thought was bad or needed upgrade. Billet keys, bronze pads etc..i did opt to reuse my clutch i was told it still had some life on it. Anyways when i get the car back i take it easy for a couple weeks and seems fine then i start running into issues like at idle having a hard time getting into 1st gear and reverse. Also cannot shift into 3rd + gears at anything over 4k and my clutch pedal softens and feels weak after trying. I just bled the system last sunday using the jmd method still same problem. Other things to note is if i engage the clutch pedal fully and it wont go in 1st gear i can back the pedal off 2 inches push it down again and the shifter will slide in sometimes. Also sitting at idle in neutral if i press the clutch pedal down about 1 inch theres a screechy wine noise until i press it further in to engage the clutch. If i let off no noise all the way down no noise just about 1 inch in it wines...thnx for any help i was going to order a new mc and do the drill mod but if its something else id rather put the money towards that to get my baby running properly..Never had this problem till after i had the tranny built. I take care of the car regularly and change all fluids regularly tune ups etc
