clutch pedal problems
clutch pedal problems I have had the usual clutch pedal dropping when getting on racing the car. It is ok when driving normally.I read a lot of posts on here about this problem. I decided to do the drill mod to the lower hydrallic line. Got the hose back on after the mod and bled the system.It was deffinately better. I decided to put a new ac delco clutch master. Did a bench bleed and bled the system.The new master was bad. WTF I bought it from a parts vender on ebay.What a mistake.Time to take it all apart again.
I know I am going on forever but I am getting to my question.I read that the tick master will solve all the master cylinder problems.I read some posts that said that the tick will releace higher up on the pedal. than the stock unit.Can it be adjusted so that it feels similar to the stock unit? Is that something you just have to get used to with the tick?
Really at the end of my rope with this ****.Do you think installing the tick was worth it. Thanks

An upgraded master will help, but, more than likely your issue will return. The clutch pedal sinking is a sign of the clutch on it's way out.
If it were me I'd either call us or Tick and get the package deal that replaces not only the master but the clutch with a Monster unit. This will save you time and headaches in the long run.
