Default Should I get a new pilot/release bearing with new clutch?

Like the title says. Do I need a new pilot bearing when I get my new clutch put in? 2000 z28 with 143,000 miles. Putting in a ACT street performance clutch kit with an ACDelco slave cylinder. And should I maybe get a rear main seal also?

lol my question is should i get a new clutch while replacing the pilot or throwout bearing...

You definately should, its only like 20 dollars or less and the throwout makes a terrible noise when they go out (ask me how i know). Besides that they can also ruin your input shaft if its not replaced in time. Since the tranny is out, i would definately replace them.

Timken is a good brand as long as it is a sealed bearing. O'reilly tried to sell me some 3 piece job that didnt even have the right size ID. You can buy an OEM unit at the dealer for about $15.

If you dont replace it, Karma will come to get you soon after you put everything back together.
