Default Just bought a Pro 5.0

Hey everyone, i just bought a pro 5.0 with the lou's short stick from afterthoughts auto! All i know about it is what i have read from the posts on here. Did I make the right choice with the lss or should i have gone with just the cut down pro 5.0. What kind of improvement can I expect over the stock shifter? Thanks!

1) faster shifting
2) no 2-3 miss..
3) very short throw
4) no overextending a gear

thats about it..

As for hte LSS compared to the pro 5.0 cut stick...
There about the same I woud say...

Thanks dude, another stupid question, i think i have a linkage problem, alot of the shifts i do grind into gear, it is not me letting off the clutch to fast, i try everything and it still grinds in going through alot of the gear shifts i.e. 1-2 2-3 3-4 and thats about it. When i get the pro 5.0 installed will it fix this problem?

sounds like your clutch is not fully disengauging, you might want to get a new clutch.. but i dunno im no tranny expert you might want to pm camaroholic..
I dont think the pro 5.0 will fix it...

You picked a great shifting setup! How do I know, because it's the same one I have!
