4l60 --> t56 swap hey guys, im wondering if there is a t56 trans that will possibly bolt up to an iron block 5.3 in a 2000 gmc sierra. my 4l60 is getting weak, and i really want a manual trans. im going to put a turbo on my 5.3 so i need something that will hold the torque, thats why i picked the t56.
