Default How can I tell a T-56 from T-56 Magnum?

The transmission is in the car, no lift available. Is there a simple way to tell whether it's actually got a Magnum? The current seller was told that it's a magnum from the previous seller, but has no receipts to back it up.

Thanks in advance!

The front adapter plate of the trans. case has both a Ford clutch fork opening at 07:30 and GM slave cylinder line notches up high.

What car is it in? With the standard magnum tail housing, the shifter is further forward than a 4th gen t56 and can only use a magnum shifter. T56 shifters don't fit a magnum. If it's a magnum with a 4th gen tail housing then it could have any t56 shifter. Also magnum output shafts are bigger so the drive shaft yoke is bigger also, but a t56 with a viper main shaft would have a bigger yoke too

It's in a 99 TA. Like I said though, the seller (who lives out of town) doesn't have a lift or much mechanical aptitude.
I'll see about the 7:30 position of the adapter plate of the trans case for the Mustang clutch fork.
Thanks

Here are the pictures that I've got. It looks like in the last one that the shifter on top is mounted on an anodized red plate, like in all of the pictures I've seen of the magnum...

Remove the center console and shifter boot/cover. If the trans looks like the one pictured in the link below, then it's a magnum. If not, you will have to find a way to get to the output shaft. If it's 27 spline it's a T56 if 31 spine it could be a magnum or T56 with a viper shaft.

I'm feeling hopeful based on the 11012 marking and the red plate mentioned above. I doubt the seller will remove the whole center console, but removing the shift boot could yield some good views, right?
